Looking to decorate your walls or shelves? While it may seem a little out of place here, there’s a good reason. Fiber art is one of my creative outlets, and while I get joy out of designing and making it, I don’t have enough room in my house for it all. So I will add pieces to the shop here as I create. a brand marketer, graphic designer, and fiber artist. I have been building brands in the startup high-tech industry for longer than I care to admit. My passion is visual rhetoric — the art of effective communication through visual elements such as images, typography, and text.

By combining my brand and digital marketing experience with my education in rhetoric, I offer a fresh approach to not only building a brand’s visual identity but its branding and digital strategy. What is a Brand?


Your brand is more than your logo — it’s the entire experience your prospects and customers have with your company, product, or service.

Your brand strategy defines who you are, why you do what you do, and what you stand for. It’s a promise you make and the personality you convey. And while it includes your logo, colour palette, and slogan, those are only creative elements that visually convey your brand. Instead, your brand lives in the everyday interaction you have with the world and how the world experiences the brand at every stage of their journey with you.

As an example, think of yourself as your brand. Your name is your company name, and your face is your logo. How you speak, act, and dress is your brand personality. All of you together is your brand identity, and what you do and how you do it influences that. Are you friendly, funny, laid back? Or are you serious and formal? You can influence how people see you, but in the end, it is what people say about you when you’re not in the room that is your true brand. And that is based on their experience with you, and how you made them feel.
